Indoor plant

The last test of indoor photography was a potted plant. This really put the camera sensor to the test as the plant leaves offer plenty of sharp lines and darker areas.

Outcome

Colour balance: Looking at colour balance Lumia 930 and PowerShot SX220 HS performed best with other saturating the green colour, especially Robin and Galaxy S5.

Exposure: Lumia 930 was the only one setting the exposure correctly in this test, with Galaxy S5 and Robin over-exposing slightly and iPhone over-exposing a bit more, washing out some of the mid-tones and shadow. While PowerShot SX220 HS under-exposed the image just a bit for my taste.

Detail: As we have come accustomed to in the detail category Lumia 930 outshines everyone else. Surprisingly Robin does better in this indoor test then in the previous ones by preserving a good amount of detail, although some noise stars creeping-in in places. iPhone 6 tries to fight this noise by blurring pixels together which in turned reduced the amount of detail preserved and as we have come to expect from Galaxy S5 it uses very aggressive noise reduction blurring the pixels and losing the detail even more than iPhone 6. PowerShot is again at the bottom with most noise and least detail preserved.
