HTC One X owners in Europe can now finally get their smartphones updated to Android 4.0.4. Yes, we know it’s not as nearly an exciting update that a Jelly Bean update would be. System and performance enhancements aside the latest update also brings improved Beats audio experience which includes automatic detection of headset profiles and a EA Games app along with a full version of Dead Space.
According to HTC the Android 4.04 update (HTC software number 2.17.401.2) brings HTC Sense 4.1, system performance and stability enhancements, internet browsing experience enhancements, HTC Car user experience enhancements, user interface enhancements, music improvements and new SDK support for developers.
If the software update hasn’t shown up yet you can always check for the update manually by going to Settings > About > Software updates and tap ‘Check now’.
