If you are interested in buying a new HTC One phone but can’t just manage to shell out about £250 for the cheapest model the HTC One V SIM Free then HTC just might have an even cheaper alternative. The HTC Desire C is not a member of the One series but it does look like one. With a 3.5 inch screen, 600 MHz and somewhat low resolution of 480×320 pixels it looks to us like a hybrid of HTC One X design and HTC Wildfire S spec sheet and pricing.
There is no pricing information yet but it should become available in the next couple months here in the UK and we expect it go for about £200 SIM free. Like the members of the HTC One series the HTC Desire C will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0 interface. Although HTC did mention that some of the software features if the Sense will be limited or omitted completely due to low hardware specifications in the Desire C. As the Wildfire S the HTC Desire C will come a range of colors with White, Black and Red initially available.
